Scots sportswear firm everactiv has launched a search for youngsters with inspiring sports stories to tell to tell to join its exclusive Ambassadors Programme — #everactivgirl.
Everactiv supplies technical sportswear for junior and youth athletes.
Former World triathlon champion, Catriona Morrison MBE who founded the company with business partner, Linda Barclay, said: “We’re all about supporting and encouraging girls within their sport and we are keen to ensure that we are discussing issues that matter to girls in sport whether that be nutrition advice, motivational coaching or technical help on an aspect of their sport.
“We currently have some terrific girls on our programme with backgrounds in athletics, climbing and triathlon who really enjoy being members of #everactivgirl. We’re now looking for a further 10 girls from across the UK to join the programme.”
Everactiv is looking for ambassadors between seven and 14, with a passion for sport.
They will share their sporting stories with the everactiv community and help everactiv discuss topical issues. In return Ambassadors will receive a number of benefits including exclusive technical clothing.
Enthusiastic runner and experienced junior run coach, businesswoman Linda teamed up with Catriona who won numerous World Championship titles at triathlon and duathlon during her career and competed for Scotland at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester and in Melbourne in 2006. After retiring, Catriona turned her focus to business and is a graduate of the Saltire Fellowship.
